John Paul II Center for Special Learning (JPII) will hold its 16th annual Legacy Gala on Saturday, April 25, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading. Throughout the evening, the organization will celebrate its students, adults, and staff while sharing its gratitude for those who made it possible for the organization to do so. The event’s presenting sponsor is Customers Bank, and signature sponsor is Metropolitan Companies.
During the event, JPII will present its Halo Award to Metropolitan Companies for supporting JPII scholarships, with Kevin Timochenko accepting the award on the company’s behalf.
“What resonates most with us is the Center’s deep commitment to seeing every student and adult as a whole person — nurturing them academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. That kind of individualized care and compassion is rare, and it leaves a lasting mark on everyone who walks through their doors. We’ve had the privilege of witnessing the confidence, joy, and progress of individuals at JPII, and it’s clear how transformative their programs are — not only for the students and adults they serve, but for their families and the entire community. It’s organizations like John Paul II Center that remind us why giving back matters,” stated Kevin and Susan Timochenko.
